A great little lens, this is a Leica M mount. Very compact, this lens has a classical rendering—a Leica-glow, if you will. This is not to everyone’s liking, but I produced some stunning images with this beauty. I grew to love the 40mm focal length, but might like 35mm better. The lens is sharp, and the bokeh was often pleasing, yet sometimes unruly and nervous. This would be a beauty for a compact rangefinder kit.
