W00t! Schedule Change covid-19: day 147 | US: GA | info | act
I just received some excellent news: my fall HUMN 1011 class has been cancelled due to low enrollment. What a pity. I’m not really sure why Area B classes even remain on the books, frankly. While I think the course is cool, I don’t think I’ve ever had a very good experience with my Short-Form Science Fiction class. I would have loved a similar class in college. The attrition rate is always high, and the students are never into it. Despite my choosing the best short stories and TV shows, they mostly couldn’t care less. So, a cancellation is most welcome. Yes, that means I wasted some time designing it, but likely I’ll be able to use what I did in a future section.
Not much else to report today. I’m about two-thirds through Children of Time. Despite its genuine epical qualities, it’s moving pretty quickly. I still find most of the human characters pretty awful, however.
