Well, if I don’t have a costume in RL, at least I have one on Second Life. This body and skin are collectively called “Free Roswell,” and it’s available from the guys at Alien Planet. Maybe I’ll keep it on for a few days…

I was granted a temporary residence on Eduisland II today. Here’s a shot of me setting up my area. Do you think I need some furniture? I also found a cool blog right here on Blogger that deals with Second Life: Fashion Victim. I ran into some of Stephanie Misfit’s photos on Flickr, and her stream led me to the blog. Yeah, I know. But, it has potential for education, and honestly, I’m enjoying it. I’ve been on for a year yesterday, but have only recently started to learn in earnest. I’ve met some very helpful people and have run into some old friends. It’s like a MOO with graphics. I have customized my avatar a bit, but I have not tried to build anything yet. Small moves. I’m impressed with all the citizens who are willing to help. I’ve even had people give me money to buy something decent to wear! Cool.
