I have been a serious amateur photographer since the summer of 2005. Recently, I have sold a few of my photos to a software company, several publications — including The Paris Review — and individual enthusiasts. I have shot weddings, professional portraits, engagement photos, local and national events, and city scenes and architecture.
With the help of online communities of photographers and photographic resources, I have learned enough to work occasionally as a professional. I enjoy working with people, so I prefer to shoot portraits, both in and out of a studio.
I primarily use digital equipment, minimizing costs and maximizing flexibility for myself and the client.
