I work as an Assistant Professor of English in the Division of Humanities at Macon State College. I successfully defended my dissertation in the fall of 2001 and earned my Ph.D. from the University of South Florida in May 2002. I also have my Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts from the same institution. My teaching and research interests include digital storytelling, new media, issues in technoculture, contemporary literature and theory, computer-assisted pedagogy, and epic poetry.
