Last Saturday (7/4/09) found Todd and me in Hampstead Heath looking for a “free jazz concert.” Well, we hearing the concert from atop Parliament Hill was enough. The sun was bright and warm, so we lingered. The concert was anything but “jazz,” so we didn’t pursue any further then where we were.
The walk through the heath was beautiful, as you can tell by the gallery. We spent a couple of hours there before hitting this great pub that had a garden courtyard for quaffing our pints in. We did so, meeting a couple of new friends: Kerri and Johann. Kerri’s British and Johann, or “J,” is from France. We spent several hours chatting with them.
After, we made our way to Todd’s favorite Indian restaurant, “Aroma Spice,” just around the corner from the pub. He, Damon, and I were famished, so we ordered way too much food. Glad it was stellar. I think we ate it all, too.
Anyway, check out the Hampstead gallery.
