Apple Fights Gay Marriage Ban
Hats off to Apple, and not for the usual reasons. From Apple Insider: Apple has joined Google in publicly opposing California’s Proposition 8, a measure intended to ban the rights of gay Californians to legally marry, and has contributed $100,000 to defeat the measure. I finally managed to go through all my photos from Provincetown this year. This year’s conference of the Norman Mailer Society was another great time. I learned much about Mailer, socialized with good friends, and enjoyed what will probably be my final time in Provincetown. Enjoy the photos. Buy one.

During the final panel of a conference last year, a panelist tried to squeeze a 15-page paper into his allotted 20 minutes. He read so quickly, that I’m not sure what his paper was about. Therefore, I decided that I would never go to a conference and read a paper again. The following video is my presentation for the Norman Mailer Society Conference for 2008.
